    Gamma Chi Mourns the Loss of Two Alumni

    We were recently informed of the passing of two Gamma Chi brothers in March. Brothers Paul Massey ’49 and Robert Colvin ’60 will be greatly missed by their families and the brothers of Gamma Chi Chapter of Sigma Chi.

    Paul Massey ’49 entered the chapter eternal on March 18, 2017. He was 90. Massey was born on April 24, 1926 in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Beaver Falls High School in Pennsylvania in 1942 and attended the University of Pittsburgh before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1944.

  • Save the Date: 2017 Homecoming

    There are few more exciting events that call alumni back to College Park than Homecoming.

    This year’s homecoming week will take place Sunday, October 22 through Sunday, October 29, and we expect to see you there!

    The Terps will take on the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, October 28. You won’t want to miss the game, as the Terps have a reputation of winning many of their homecoming games. Our current homecoming record is 55-34-4.

  • A Look Back at Our 75th Celebration

    We want to thank all the alumni and actives who attended our 75th Anniversary Celebration in May. With well over 200 alumni returning to College Park, the event was a great success!

    The weekend was full of fun, food, and great conversation. We kicked things off with a golf outing and banquet on Friday, and concluded the celebration with a White Rose Ceremony, picnic, and cocktail party on Saturday.
